Mary Inocencia Gebnar Clements

Mary Inocencia Gebnar Clements, 33, of Suffolk, Va., passed away July 8, 2012. She was born in Livonia, Mich. to Connie Parra Gebnar and Edward Ludwig Gebnar. She was the loving wife of Dan Clements Jr., whom she married Feb. 19, 2011. Mary was a 2006 graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy, School of Dentistry and worked as a dental hygienist at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by her sister, Linda Jimenez; brothers, Roland Gebnar and Christopher Gebnar; grandmother, Inocencia C. Parra; in-laws, Dan Sr. and Cindy Clements, Linda and Wilber Wallace; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary was loved dearly and will be greatly missed by her devoted husband, family, pets, friends, co-workers and extended family.

A funeral service to honor Mary’s life will be held Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434, with the Rev. Tommy Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at Nansemond Suffolk Cemetery. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation Tuesday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations in Mary’s honor may be made to the American Cancer Society, Suffolk Chapter, 604 Constance Woods Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434.
