Mable Reid “Lil Mable” Bradshaw, 61, of 21391 Orbit Road, Windsor, Va., died Tuesday, July 10, 2012, in Suffolk. She was a native of Suffolk and the daughter of the late Edward Reid and Mable Tyler.

She attended Booker T. Washington High School. She was employed with Indika Farms. Mable was a former member of Holly Grove AME Church in Windsor, where she was faithful until she reunited with First Baptist Church Mahan.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Joe Bradshaw, of Windsor; a stepdaughter, Evelyn Beamon, of Suffolk; two sons, Stevie Bailey, of Smithfield, Va., and Alan Reid, of New York; stepsons, Tony Kellings, Jeffrey Hall, Anthony Pierce; one brother, Francis Reid (Gladys); four sisters, Paulette Williams, Jacqueline Nickelson, Muriel Ann Council (James) and Tawana Andrews (Jesse); 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; uncle, Harold Cross (Corine), of Portsmouth, Va.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at noon, Monday, July 16, 2012, at First Baptist Church officiated by the pastor, the Rev. Dr. Steven G. Blunt. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
