Photos of robbers released

Suffolk police have released surveillance video and still photos of two suspects in a gas station robbery last week.

Two black males in their mid-20s entered the Quick Stop Citgo station at 1160 Portsmouth Blvd. at about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday. One of them displayed a handgun, and the men took an undisclosed amount of money from the registers and then fled the scene.

Suffolk police are seeking help determining the identity of this man who robbed the Portsmouth Boulevard Citgo last week.

The suspects are both described as being between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches and of medium build with short black hair. They were wearing dark blue or black hoodie jackets with blue jeans. One of the men had a blue bandana covering the lower part of his face, while the other had his hood up, covering his head.

In the video, the hooded suspect can be seen entering the store, jumping over the counter and emptying the register of cash. The suspect with a bandanna enters later, comes around the counter and helps the first suspect.
