Suffolk police are seeking the public’s assistance identifying a person of interest in connection with the breaking and entering of a business.

The burglary occurred during an early-morning, storm-related power outage on June 30, between midnight and 4:25 a.m., at the Kangaroo Express gas station at 1125 Wilroy Road in Suffolk.

The suspect was caught on surveillance cameras at another store cashing in lotto tickets that were stolen during the burglary. The store also suffered extensive damage to the front display window.

Anyone who has information is asked to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Callers to Crime Line never have to give their names or appear in court, and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
