Police are working with a scant description of a robber who held up another man at gunpoint on Sunday night.

The 24-year-old male victim reported he had been robbed about 10:55 p.m. as he walked on Jackson Street after leaving a friend’s house, city spokeswoman Diana Klink said.

The victim reported the male subject came up from behind him, held him up at gunpoint and took his handgun and wallet.

Because it was dark out and he was approached from behind, the victim told police, he didn’t get a good look at the suspect. However, he was able to tell them the suspect was a black male between 30 and 40 years of age.
