To the editor: 

In response to your recent article, “Slow Recovery,” by Matthew Ward, I would like to respond and highlight two different ideologies that result in two different results.

On one hand we have conservatives such as Gov. Bob McDonnell and Congressman Randy Forbes who have fought for lower taxes, less regulation and keeping jobs in Virginia.

On the other hand, you have politicians such as Tim Kaine and Ella Ward, who want higher taxes and want to cut our military capabilities, thus causing job losses.

The Mallas family has had a slow recovery. I hope things improve for us all, but the only way to ensure that prosperity is by electing the right officials.
