KFMS student Bush earns awards

The eighth grade awards night at King’s Fork Middle School was a successful one for Joshua Bush.

During the night, Joshua was given awards including certificates for participating in Quest, a gifted education program; the Presidential Academic Fitness Award; medals for perfect attendance; the Distinguished Music Award for earning a chair in the Junior District Orchestra for the second year in a row; and Principal’s Award for earning straight A’s.

Joshua also was one of two students to earn a gift card from the Ruritan Club for having the second highest average, and he was the only student to receive a plaque from the Woodsmen of the World for outstanding citizenship and achievement in history.

Joshua also participates on the junior varsity football and baseball teams of King’s Fork High School.
