Clifton A. Copeland, 65, of the 3600 block of Copeland Road, transitioned into eternity on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012 at Nansemond Pointe Nursing Home.

He leaves to cherish his memories wife, Sarah Outland Copeland; one sister, Prentis A. Fleetwood (Robert); two brothers (Thaddeus C. Copeland (Cora) and Randolph Copeland (Pastor Miriam Sherrod), all of Suffolk.

A home going service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Gethsemane Baptist Church, Suffolk, Va., by Pastor Simmons. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Wyatt and Sons Funeral Home is in charge.
