NFL Youth Football Fund and C3F recently sponsored a evening football camp at Nike Park in Smithfield.

More than 100 children from the Smithfield Pop Warner Association and Smithfield High School football team attended the football skills camp. Participants donated 10 canned goods to attend the three-day camp.

The canned goods donation will be used in the C3’s Kid’s Meals Program throughout the remainder of the summer program and heading in the to the at-risk school year program. Cover 3 Foundation recently received a $2,500 grant from the NFL Youth Football Fund to sponsor this free camp for the children.

The Cover 3 Foundation is a non-profit organization working to inspire and motivate youth to achieve their goals and conquer adversity through positive, personal and passionate coaching, mentoring and community service.
