An elderly woman was rescued after about three hours of being missing on Saturday.

Suffolk police and firefighters found the 76-year-old woman about 3:50 p.m. She was reported missing at 1 p.m. by her husband, who said she had not returned from her routine early morning walk in the woods behind their property in the 1200 block of Manning Road.

She was treated at the scene for minor cuts, according to a city press release.
