Rebecca “Becky” Lee Mohler, 64, of Suffolk, Va., was ushered into the presence of the Lord on Saturday morning, Aug. 18, 2012. She was born in Millersburg, Ohio, in 1948.

Becky was a loyal and devoted wife who counted being a mother as her greatest accomplishment. She was a graduate of Cedarville College with a bachelor’s degree in mathematical education and a minor in English. She loved to teach, having taught in public schools in Ohio, New York and California for five years, homeschooled her children for 15 years and taught adult education at the Western Tidewater Regional Jail for 14 years. A faithful member of Community Baptist Church, she taught in several capacities and enjoyed singing in the choir; she served briefly in a missionary teaching role in South Korea. She also served on the Suffolk Literacy Council for several years. She was an H&R Block tax preparer for 15 years, during which time she achieved Master Tax Advisor status and was certified as an enrolled agent for the IRS.
