Deacon Archie L. Edwards transitioned into eternal rest and peace on Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, at the Waverly Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. A service of triumph will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Mission of Deliverance Temple COGIC, 6560 Crumpler Road, Ivor, Va., with viewing beginning at 1 p.m. He will be laid to rest at the Davis Cemetery in Ivor, Va.
