Louis S. Foreman Sr.

On Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, angels beckoned our beloved Louis S. Foreman Sr. to God’s Promised Land. A native of Ivor, Va., Mr. Foreman was preceded in death by his parents, Bishop Johnnie Foreman Sr. and Elizabeth Foreman; three brothers, James Russell Foreman, Robert Foreman and Johnnie Foreman Jr.; and devoted friend, Evelyn Wooden.
Here to cherish his memories are his four sons, Marc C. Dyer Sr., Dontae (Terrie) Carr, of Wilmington, N.C., Louis Foreman Jr. and Dirrell Foreman; three brothers, Harry Foreman, of Suffolk, Va.; Reggie and Dwayne Foreman, of New York; four sisters, Phyliss Carter, of Norfolk, Va.; Carol, Tasha and Debra Foreman, of New York. He will be greatly missed by his six grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
A homegoing celebration will be held on Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Crocker Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Jerry Scott, pastor of Ezekiel New Day Christian Center of Boykins, Va. The processional will assemble at 335 N. Fifth St. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements have been confided to the care of Crocker Funeral Home.
