Warriors finish fourth at cross country meet

Nansemond River High School’s boys’ and girls’ cross-country teams finished in fourth and sixth places, respectively, in separate meets on Thursday at Bell’s Mill Park in Chesapeake.
King’s Fork’s girls’ and boys’ teams finished seventh and ninth in the Southeastern District meet, and Lakeland’s boys’ team finished 10th.
Scores for the girls’ meet were as follows:

Contributing to the girls’ score for King’s Fork were the following: Jackalyn Knight, 27; Julia Knight, 34; Courtney Ricks, 40; Danielle Hill, 43; and Te’shaibrah Myles, 44.
