Vernon Turner passed away Oct. 30, 2012. A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at 2 p.m. in Providence United Methodist Church, 3105 Providence Road, Suffolk, Va., by the Rev. Garland K. Hines, with burial in Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery. A reception will follow at Providence United Methodist Church.
