Suffolk police are seeking two unknown suspects who robbed a Chinese food delivery driver at gunpoint Tuesday night.
The robbery occurred about 8:43 p.m. in the 300 block of Jackson Street. The victim said an order was placed for delivery, but when he arrived at the address, he found it was a vacant residence, according to city spokeswoman Diana Klink.
When the driver started to walk away, however, the door suddenly opened and two men emerged, with one holding a gun, Klink said.
They took $66.98 worth of Chinese food and $19 in cash, then fled from the residence, Klink said.
The investigation is ongoing. Both suspects are described as black males between 18 and 20 years old. One wore all dark clothing with a fitted ball cap, and the other wore grayish clothes with a dark fitted ball cap.
