Suffolk police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an individual wanted for the theft of lottery tickets last month.

The theft occurred at 1:40 a.m. Nov. 22, Thanksgiving Day, at a convenience store in the 6000 block of Godwin Blvd. The store clerk said a black male wearing a blue zip-up hoodie, jeans and black shoes entered the store and removed an entire row of lottery tickets from behind the counter, according to a news release from the city.

Police say this man cashed in stolen lottery tickets.

The stolen tickets were valued at $1,236 and ranged in price from $2 to $20 per ticket.
