IWA dominates Summit

Nathan Sivertson had 25 points and 18 rebounds to lead Isle of Wight Academy past Summit Christian 70-40 on Tuesday.
Sivertson had 11 of his rebounds on IWA’s offensive end of the floor, and all but one Charger player scored. Teammates R.J. Wells and Casey Williams each grabbed six boards.
Summit was led by Torrel Jackson with 19 points.
Leading by eight points, 30-22, at halftime, IWA applied pressure in the third quarter, limiting Summit to just eight points in the period. Meanwhile, Sivertson paced the IWA attack with 11 points in that same span, which, along with the first quarter, marked his only court time.
By the fourth quarter, the Chargers had built a 26-point lead.
IWA ran its record to 13-4 over all. Summit fell to 2-5.
