Senior arrested at school on drug charges

A King’s Fork High School student was arrested Wednesday and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute after an unannounced drug dog search.
James Scott Marx, 18, of the 1200 block of Parker Drive, also faces a charge of possession of marijuana with intent to sell on school property, according to city spokeswoman Diana Klink.
Officers executed a search warrant on Marx and the vehicle he drove to school and allegedly recovered several individually packaged bags of marijuana, Klink said. The offender allegedly admitting to selling some of the marijuana, she added.
Bethanne Bradshaw, spokeswoman for Suffolk Public Schools, said Marx is a senior and has been recommended for expulsion.
