Police investigating Sunday night robbery

The Suffolk Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred Sunday night at a gas station on Holland Road.
The incident took place at 7:58 p.m. at the Wilco Hess station in the 1500 block of Holland Road. No weapon was displayed, but the suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash from the registers and then fled the premises on foot, according to a press release from city spokeswoman Diana Klink.
He was described as a black male with a thin build, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, and 30-40 years old. He was wearing a green sweater, green hat, black jeans and brown shirt.
The Suffolk Police K-9 unit was called out.
Anyone who has information is asked to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Callers to Crime Line never have to give their names or appear in court, and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
