Milton Edward “Jug” Bailey, 50, of the 200 block of Eley Court, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 27, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. He was born on Feb. 11, 1963, to the late Junious Bailey and Mary E. Goodman Bailey.
He was employed by Benny Plastic Co. of Suffolk.
Milton was preceded in death by both of his parents; a sister, Velma Bailey; and three brothers, Richard, Reginald and George Bailey.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, three sisters, Susie and Gloria Bailey and Patricia Wiggins, all of Suffolk; one brother, James Bailey, of Suffolk; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A visitation will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 6, from noon to 7 p.m., and the family will receive and greet guests from 5 to 7 p.m. A celebration of life service will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 7 at noon, and he will be laid to rest in the T.E. Cooke-Overton Garden of Carver Memorial Cemetery.
