Renee Scott Cockrell, 37, of Suffolk, died on March 5, 2013. She was an R.N. at Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk.

Surviving is her husband, Brandon Cockrell; her son, Bryce Cockrell; her parents, Robby and Debbie Oder, of Reedville; her grandmothers, Joy Oder, of Reedville, and Margaret Swann, of Reedville; three brothers, Ray Scott, of Heathsville, Blaine Scott, of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Grayson Oder of Lafayette, La.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 10, at Currie Funeral Home, 116 E. Church St., Kilmarnock, Va. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Bryce Cockrell Education Fund, c/o EVB, P.O. Box 365, Burgess, VA 22432.
