Hand grenade found

A Virginia State Police bomb squad agent was called to a home in Suffolk on Saturday after a family discovered a hand grenade while cleaning the garage of a deceased relative.
Suffolk police and fire departments were called to the scene in the 100 block of Maury Place at about 2:47 p.m., according to Suffolk spokeswoman Debbie George.
