A coastal flood advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service for Suffolk, Isle of Wight County and other nearby jurisdictions.

The flooding is expected from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. tonight. Minor flooding is expected within a few hours of either side of high tide. Low areas along the waterline prone to flooding will experience high water.
