Suffolk police are seeking assistance identifying three armed robbery suspects.
The incident occurred April 10 at 3:10 a.m., when the suspects were seen on surveillance video at the Walmart in the 6200 block of College Drive, according to a press release from the city. They entered the store, placed stereo equipment in a shopping cart and fled the store before entering a white minivan, possibly a Dodge Caravan, about 3:23 a.m. Witnesses said one of the suspects was carrying a handgun as he fled the store, the press release said.
Descriptions and photos are available of two of the suspects. The first is described as a black male, medium complexion, wearing a camouflage baseball cap, black t-shirt with a white bandanna tied around his neck, camouflage tactical-style pants and dark tennis shoes. He had a mustache and a tattoo on his right forearm.
The second suspect is described as a black male with a dark complexion and stubbly facial hair, wearing a dark and light gray-striped hoodie with a white tank top underneath, as well as dark jeans and dark-colored tennis shoes with red laces.
