Diana Yvette Jones, 28, of 310 Hunter St., Suffolk, died Thursday, April 25, 2013 in Suffolk. She was a native of Suffolk and the daughter of Robert Mizell and Sharon Crocker (Thomas) all of Suffolk.

She attended Lakeland High School, Love and Companion Nursing School and Suffolk Beauty Academy.

Besides her parents, she leaves to cherish her memory goddaughter, Deserae Boone; three sisters, Eboni Jones and Tracy Jones, both of Suffolk, and Latrasha Crocker, of Newport News; two godsisters, Susan Mobley, of North Carolina, and Michelle Bradshaw, of Franklin; three brothers, William Jones and Robert Mizel Jr., both of Suffolk, and Latavis Crocker, of Newport News; one godbrother, Jeffery Jackson, of New York; maternal grandmother, Hattie Smith, of Suffolk; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 2, 2013, at St. Paul Baptist Church, 806 Lincoln St., officiated by Bishop Clarence V. Russell III. Interment will be at Carver Memorial Cemetery. A candlelight service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at 310 Hunter St. The family will receive friends at the home of Eboni Jones, 1873 White Marsh Road.
