Mrs. Lillie V. Collins departed this earthly life on May 5, 2013, at Sentara Obici Memorial Hospital.

She is predeceased by her husband, Linwood Lee White Sr., and her parents, Charlie Collins Sr. and Betty Jordan and her son, Kenny L. White. She is survived by her sons, Linwood Lee White Jr., of Franklin, Charles D. White (Geraldine), of Norfolk, and Glennis White, of Portsmouth; her daughters, Ellen J. Williams, of Norfolk, Joyce Shands (Jackie), of Suffolk, and Carolyn A. Matthews (Gerald), of North Carolina. She will be lovingly missed by her brothers, Bishop Charlie Collins Jr., Thurman Collins and Theodore Collins (Ella), all of Suffolk, and her sisters, Effie Barnes and Minnie Scott (Thomas), also of Suffolk; along with a host of loving relatives and friends.

A home going service will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013, at noon at the St. Phillips Pentecostal Holiness Church with Bishop Goodwin officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Entombment will be at Carver Memorial Cemetery, Suffolk. The family will assemble at Harris Funeral Home for the funeral procession.
