Girls Scouts set membership event
Published 7:31 pm Saturday, May 11, 2013
Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast will host a new member event May 22 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Northern Shores Elementary School.
New member events give girls and adults a brief introduction to Girl Scouts and help interested individuals register for Girl Scouts. Girls can choose any number of ways to be involved with Girl Scouts through Pathways, which include troops, camp, events, series, travel and virtual interactions.
Adults can also become involved with Girl Scouts in a number of ways. They can become troop leaders, service unit volunteers, first-aid trainers or assume a variety of short-term positions. The flexibility of Pathways allows adults to participate based on their lifestyle and availability.
