Norfolk authorities seeking man in Suffolk

The Norfolk Fire Marshal is seeking the public’s assistance locating an arson suspect who may be in Suffolk.

Devonte A. Boucher, 20, is known to frequent 1018 Silver Charm Circle in Suffolk, according to a wanted poster from the fire marshal’s office.

According to a media advisory from Norfolk, a fire was reported May 10 just after 8 p.m. at an apartment at 7812 San Antonio Boulevard. Firefighters found smoke coming from the rear of the structure and quickly contained the flames to the kitchen.

The fire marshal determined the fire to be of a suspicious nature and developed Boucher as a suspect, according to the media release.

Boucher is charged with arson to an occupied dwelling and setting a fire to conceal a crime.

Boucher goes by the alias “Lil Rock,” according to the release. He is described as a black male with a thin build, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 150 pounds, brown eyes, black hair kept in dreadlocks and a moustache and goatee. He has a tattoo on his left arm of a rock and pitchfork. He is known to drive a 1989 Chevrolet Caprice with the license plate CHI-89.
