Arrest made in December murder

Nearly six months after the shooting death of William Kendale Jordan, Suffolk police have made an arrest in the case.
Akeem Deshawn Lee Lassiter, 21, of Sunbury, N.C., turned himself in to the Suffolk Police Department about 2 p.m. Thursday.
A grand jury issued indictments on charges of first-degree murder, armed robbery, shooting in the commission of a felony, conspiracy to commit a felony and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Jordan, age 27, was shot multiple times in the garage of his Dutch Road home about 2 a.m. Dec. 17.
