Summer is almost here, and you can add to your summer fun by adopting a new best friend.
Suffolk Humane Society and Suffolk Animal Care Center will sponsor an adopt-a-thon June 22 at Suffolk Animal Care Center, 124 Forest Glen Drive from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“There are always more pets than there are homes, and we hope we can help partner pets with people at our event.” said Lee Murphy, adoptions and foster coordinator for Suffolk Humane.
The Suffolk Humane Society is dedicated to promoting the welfare of companion animals in the community through sponsoring spay/neuter programs, placing homeless animals in loving permanent homes, and providing quality humane education with an emphasis on responsible pet ownership.
