SUFFOLK — Quatiaka Tonisha Portis, affectionately known as Tiaka, 28, of the 2000 block of Smalleys Dam Circle, passed away peacefully at home on June 19, 2013. She was the daughter of William E. Moore Jr. and Mildred Moore, of Suffolk, and Anthony “Michael” Jordan, of Mobile, Ala.

Tiaka was a graduate of Nansemond River High School. She attended Tidewater Community College and ECPI. Tiaka worked as a customer service representative for Sprint. She was a member of Canaan Baptist Church under Pastor V. Hariston.

Tiaka leaves to cherish her memory two sisters, Ebony Jordan, of Suffolk, and Natalie Moore, of Virginia Beach; nephew, Tristen Parson, of Virginia Beach; and fiancé, John Anthony Leevy, of Hampton; grandparents, aunts, uncles, godparents, cousins and friends.

The family will have a wake on Sunday, June 23, 2013, at 6 p.m. at Crocker Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 24, 2013, at noon at Canaan Baptist Church. Interment will be held at Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery.
