Armelia Brown Goodman, 94 of Suffolk, VA died Thursday, June 20, 2013, at Kindred Transitional Care, Suffolk.

She was a native of Nansemond County and the daughter of the late William Atlas Brown and Florence Askew Brown.

She retired as a domestic worker. She was a former member of Friendship Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Maria Herring (Samuel) of Suffolk; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held at noon, Tuesday, June 25, 2013, in the chapel of Crocker Funeral Home, officiated by Elder Shadrack Brown Jr. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery, Suffolk.
