LaRay D. Kindred, a 2010 graduate of King’s Fork High School, has completed his junior year at Elizabeth City State University with a grade-point average of 3.9.

Kindred is studying sports management and physical education, and he is also on the ECSU football team.

Kindred is the son of Sandra Boone Pope. He also has two siblings, Michael Kindred and She’a Parker, and is the grandson of the late James and Mamie Boone.
