The following Virginia Military Institute cadets from Suffolk were among the 671 cadets who were recently named to the dean’s list for the second semester of academic year 2012-2013.

To be eligible for the dean’s list, a cadet must have a term grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and no grade below a C.

• Benjamin R. Eberhardt, is a freshman from Suffolk, majoring in economics/business. Cadet Eberhardt’s parents are Debra K. Eberhardt and Michael D. Eberhardt.
• Rex B. Hill is a freshman from Suffolk, majoring in psychology. Cadet Hill’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Stephen M. Hill.
