William E. King Sr., of 1657 Nansemond Parkway, Suffolk, departed this earthly life on Monday, July 8, 2013.

William is survived by his loving wife, Sandria Boone-King; three sons, William E. King Jr. (Chanel), Denzel King, of Suffolk, and Jerry King, of North Carolina; one daughter, Sheena King, of Suffolk; one brother, Floyd King, of Suffolk; mother-in-law, Mary Lee Boone, of Suffolk; special neighbor, Wayne Thornton and pastor and friend the Rev. Larry Parker, both of Suffolk, and five grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives.

A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, July 12, 2013, at noon at Piney Grove Church. Burial will be in Piney Grove Church. Harris Funeral Home has been entrusted with the home going service. Condolences can be sent to www.vharrisfuneralhome.com for the family.
