Lezma Eliza Parker Cobb, 69, of Suffolk, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 10, 2013. She was born on May 5, 1944, to the late Mamie Bullock Parker and Adell Parker. She was preceded in death by her brother, Lonnie Nelson Parker.

Lezma was educated in the Nansemond County School System, and was a graduate of East Suffolk High School and Norfolk State University. She retired from Gates County Public Schools after 32 years of service. She was a member of the Suffolk Chapter of Les Gemmes Inc.

Lezma leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Frederick Cobb; her devoted daughters, Crystal and Kesha; cousins Berdie Crawley (Sherman), George Wilkins (Carole), Yvonne Lee (George), Charles Bullock (Michelle), Patricia Keys (Ronald Sr.), and Cassie Mason-Gibbs; an aunt, Alice Bullock; two sisters-in-law, Darline C. Boone and Jean Cobb; and a host of family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at noon on Saturday, July 13, 2013, in the chapel of Crocker Funeral Home officiated by the Rev. Allen Clark. Interment will follow at Carver Memorial Cemetery.
