Desiree Warren preached her initial sermon on July 28 at Church Without Walls in Greensboro, N.C.

Warren is the daughter of Dr. Marvin and Cathy Warren, formerly of Suffolk, now of Oakland, Calif. She received her bachelor’s degree from A&T State University in 2008 and her master’s degree from Strayer University in 2010. She now is enrolled at Hood School of Theology and pursuing a master’s degree in divinity.

She was licensed by Church Without Walls and Nazareth Messiah Church of Oakland, Calif.

Her initial sermon was “Satan, You Have Been Exposed, The Curse Is Broken!” The text was taken from the book of 1 Kings.
