All lanes of Holland Road have reopened after an earlier accident, but police continues to investigate the crash that sent one person to the hospital.

It happened in the 3200 block of Holland Road at 8:22 a.m. Monday. It involved two vehicles, one of which was a tractor-trailer.

One person was taken by Nightingale air ambulance to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Both eastbound lanes of the road were closed immediately after the accident.
