The Nansemond River High School golf team defeated Oscar Smith High School 319-412 on Monday at Bide-A-Wee Golf Course.

The Warriors were once again led by senior Griffin Genier who was medalist with an even-par round of 72. For Nansemond River, Bryce Strong followed with a 75, Ryan Sams registered an 85 and Ryan Fischer an 87.

The Warriors (5-1) will play Lakeland High School on Thursday at Cahoon Plantation Golf Course in Chesapeake.
