Gwendolyn Evon Holly, 50, of Newport News, died Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, at her residence. A funeral service will be held at noon, Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, in the chapel of Crocker Funeral Home officiated by Suffragan Bishop Madison Copeland. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
