Paul D. Camp Community College has a day of family-oriented fun planned for Oct. 12, from noon to 3 p.m. on the Franklin Campus.

The Alumni Reunion/Open House event will feature food, music, carnival games and cornhole. A variety of booths will be set up with information about the college clubs and organizations, academic programs, TRIO programs and Career Development Center. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with PDCCC faculty and staff.

“This will be an opportunity for alumni to visit with former classmates,” said Vice President for Institutional Advancement Felicia Blow. “It is also an event for potential students and their parents to find out about academic programs at the college.”

In addition, the computer lab, bookstore and library will be open inside the building for visitors.

“Potential students can apply for admission to the college, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and visit the Virginia Education Wizard, an online education and career planning tool,” said Trina Jones, dean of student services.

In addition to cornhole and carnival games, there will be flag football games, a DJ, the Chick-fil-A cow, and an inflatable bounce house and slides.
