A short-handed Suffolk Chargers squad lost 35-0 on Saturday to the Virginia Saints in Goochland.

Chargers owner Angela Harper said she had 13 players missing due to work conflicts, including key contributors on offense. However, she said the playoffs are still within reach if the team can win its next three contests.

The Chargers (1-4) will host the Portsmouth Mustangs this Saturday, but the location is still to be determined. Harper is waiting to learn if either the field at Lakeland High School or John F. Kennedy Middle School will be available.
