Minns, Stallings wed

The wedding of Eric Minns and Tia Stallings took place Sept. 28 at the LW Center on Old East Pinner Street in Suffolk.
The bride is the daughter of Joanne Stallings and Melvin Harris. The groom is the son of Eleanor Minns.
The bride wore a custom gown made of white sequins, satin and tulle with a hint of silver. She wore silver shoes and rhinestone jewelry. Her hair was in a bun wrapped in a braid and was adorned with a rhinestone tiara and pins.
The flower girls’ and angel’s dresses were replicas of the bride’s dress. All dresses were designed by the mother of the groom, who sponsored the wedding.
The groom wore all-white formal attire.
Ciera Gidrey served as matron of honor, and Latonya Goode and Brooke Thacker were bridesmaids. Ashton Copeland served as best man, and Lamar Steward and Erin Minns as groomsmen.
Zamari Stallings served as ringbearer and Apifani Howell and Erica Minns were flowergirls. Emani Minns was dressed as an angel.
Hostesses were Ayouniq Howell and Deshawna, Kayla and Kelly Sherrill. Maryland Roberts and Mary and John Marlins assisted. Decorations were by Sharon Riley and catering by Joyce Jones.
Barbara Shirrell videoed the affair, and Pattrena Howell did the photography. The Rev. Myers Hunt officiated.
