The Nansemond River High School boys’ volleyball team topped the visitors from Denbigh High School in straight sets on Tuesday night: 25-13, 25-22, 25-18.

The Warriors were led by DJ Anders, who had eight kills and Evan Gardner, who handed out 33 assists.

With the win, Nansemond River improved to 4-4 in the Ironclad Conference.

The team hosts King’s Fork (13-8, 8-1) tonight.
