The city has changed the date and time of the 2013 Grand Illumination Ceremony.

It will be held this Friday at 6 p.m. at Market Park, 326 N. Main St. Music, crafts, movies, carriage rides and more will be available surrounding the lighting of the 32-foot tree, which will take place at 6:15. Santa will arrive at 6:30, and the event will run until 8.

Parking is available at the Godwin Courts Building, 150 N. Main St., and the Visitor Center, 524 N. Main St. A shuttle will run from the courthouse parking lot from 5:45 to 8:30 p.m. Call 514-7267 for more information.
