Special Olympics Virginia-Area 29 Suffolk will be holding a fundraiser allowing people to get a holiday photo taken underwater with Scuba Santa. YMCA Camp Arrowhead will host the event on Dec. 7 from 1 to 4 p.m. in partnership with Chesapeake Bay Diving Center.

Individuals and whole families are encouraged to participate. No diving experience is required. Diving equipment will be provided, and professional instructors will be on hand to guide participants. A professional diving photographer will take the photos.

Pictures look best with covered skin; many people wear festive clothing. Participants must be 10 years or older to scuba, and those 17 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The cost for photos is $30 per individual or $50 for two people, and $5 for each additional person.

Included with entry fee will be print-quality pictures sent by email in time for Christmas cards.

YMCA Camp Arrowhead is located at 275 Kenyon Road.
