Nansemond-Suffolk Academy’s boys’ and girls’ cross country teams combined for three representatives on the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association Division II all-state team.
Male and female runners qualified by placing in the top 20 of their respective races at the state championship meet in Woodberry Forest.
For NSA’s girls, eighth-graders Kaylee Moore (10th place) and Kate Lutz (17th place) made the team. For the boys, it was freshman Gustav Berner (11th place).
