Generous residents of Lake Prince Woods recently gathered to fill Christmas stockings for distribution by the Salvation Army.

About 20 residents participated this year. Janet Kelly, a Lake Prince Woods resident who volunteers for the Salvation Army, organizes the effort each year.

Also benefiting from the residents’ generosity is the Ebenezer United Methodist Church’s food bank. Residents have been collecting canned goods for more than a month.
