Police seek robbery suspects

Suffolk police are investigating a Sunday afternoon armed robbery that took place at the Kangaroo Express in the 1100 block of Wilroy Road. They are seeking assistance identifying the two suspects.
Dispatchers received a call about the robbery at 12:31 p.m., according to a news release from city spokesman Tim Kelley. Two suspects, one male and one female, had entered the store and demanded money from the register. The male displayed a handgun.
The suspects left with an undetermined amount of money and drove away in a red or burgundy Kia Rio. No one was injured in the incident, Kelley wrote.
The male suspect is described as a white male, 18 to 28 years of age, 6 feet 2 inches to 6 feet 4 inches tall, skinny build, wearing a black coat with hood up, light colored shirt, blue jeans, black tennis shoes and sunglasses.
The female suspect is described as a white female, 18 to 28 years of age, 5 feet 2 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall, skinny build, wearing a black coat with hood up, black pants, black shoes and sunglasses.
